88 Acres
88 Acres expanded its lineup of seed bars with the return of its Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bar. The limited-time offering is crafted from a blend of seeds (organic sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and flax seeds) mixed with chocolate chips and Australian sea salt. The limited edition Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bar is available for $14.49 per 6-pack or $21.49 per 9-pack at retailers such as Target and Wegmans.
Mind Blown
Plant-based seafood producer Mind Blown launched its newest alt-seafood product: Mind Blown Crab Cakes. The plant protein-based cake is seasoned with celery, onion and panko bread crumbs to create a texture similar to its traditional counterpart. The crab cakes are available at Sprouts Market nationwide alongside Mind Blown’s Dusted Shrimp and Scallop offerings, marking the brand’s first national distribution at retail.
Real Good Foods
Frozen food company Real Good Foods, expanded its breakfast lineup with new Breakfast Bowls and Breakfast Bites. The former combines the brand’s Crispy Tots with eggs, cheese and breakfast meats like sausage and bacon and packs 10 grams of protein per 2-bite serving. The latter features a grain-free coating made from lupin bean and cauliflower with eggs, cheese and breakfast meats like sausage and bacon and boasts 26 grams of protein per bowl. Real Good Foods Breakfast Bowls are available for $7.99 per 7 oz. box and Real Good Foods Breakfast Bites are available for $9.99 per 14 oz. box in-store and online.
Snacklins x Fly By Jing
Plant-based crisp company Snacklins teamed up with Chinese culinary brand Fly By Jing(FBJ) to create its first spicy chip offering: Mala Spice Mix Crisp. The limited-edition snack features a seasoning made with 11 herbs and spices, including FBJ’s Erjingtiao chili and Sichuan pepper. Heinz
In an effort to embrace rising culinary trends, Heinz is rolling out its new HEINZ 57 collection of “elevated” sauces and spreads. The collection features two product lines – infused honeys and crunch sauces – designed by chefs Lee Wolen and Joe Frillman. Available in two flavors – Hot Chili and Black Truffle – the honeys can be used on dishes like pizza, bacon or fried chicken. The oil-based crunch sauces are offered in Chili Pepper Crunch, Roasted Garlic Crunch and Mandarin Orange Miso Crunch varieties. Caulipower
Caulipower debuted its new stone-fired White Pizza made with bechamel sauce, spinach and a blend of parmesan, romano and asiago cheeses. The gluten-free offering contains just 380 calories per half of the pizza. Caulipower’s White Pizza is available at Meijer and Shoprite for $8.99 and will be available at Walmart stores nationwide in the fall.
